── ── Our story

CPA and EA firms hold the richest dataset in a business. And bill it as bookkeeping.

Your clients' books are the one dataset that records everything a business does — and the profession monetizes it at its lowest rate. deciqAI is the advisory engine we built to change those economics: one dataset, three products — and every judgment call left exactly where it belongs.

── ── The economics

Same ledger, three products. Most firms sell the first.

Bookkeeping → analysis → planning: one dataset, three products, ten times the fee. The table below is where those economics sit today.

The productWhat it isHow it's billed todayWhat that leaves on the table
BookkeepingCategorized transactions and the three statementsA flat monthly fee — the lowest realization rate in the professionThe floor. Every firm sells this; most firms stop here.
AnalysisCash-flow forecasts, year-over-year shifts, the drift a monthly close never surfacesGiven away in the review call, when it happens at allThe work clients remember — and the work that never gets invoiced
PlanningCost segregation, PTET elections, safe-harbor corrections, compensation strategyBilled rarely, by the hour, blind to the dollars at stakeThe highest-fee work in the profession, and the least written down

── ── Why it stayed broken

Every tool holds one piece. The ledger and the authority are never in the same hands.

The toolWhat it doesWhere it stops
Ledger softwareKeeps the books and prints the statementsIt stops at the statements. No analysis, no plan, no authority behind either.
Dashboards and reporting add-onsChart the trends on top of the ledgerA chart is not a plan. No dollar figure, no cited authority, nothing a firm can review, sign, and put in front of a client.
Tax research platformsHold the statutes and the commentaryThey never see the client's numbers. Someone still spends the research hours connecting the two.
AI tax planning platformsSurface strategies across entities and put a projected saving on each oneA projection is not an exposure. It prices what a strategy might return under assumptions that never travel with the number, so when the client asks where the figure came from, the answer is the model.
Doing it by handWorks, and is what advisory-forward firms doHours per client, per position. It scales by hiring, in a labour market where the hire is not available.

── ── What we built

From one ledger: the statements, the analysis, the plan.

The statements

The ledger connects, and client documents arrive through a secure, expiring upload link — no client account, no inbox access by design. The engine reads the statements the books already produce; nothing feeds the work above until a person confirms it. Bookkeeping is the floor of the relationship, and the source of everything above it.

The analysis

From the same numbers: cash-flow forecasts, year-over-year shifts, the drift a monthly close never surfaces. Written down instead of spoken in a review call — analysis a firm can put its name and an invoice on.

The plan

The engine tests which positions this year's facts support — cost segregation, PTET elections, safe-harbor corrections, compensation strategy — and drafts the plan. Deterministic math and cited authority behind every recommendation, and the dollars at stake wherever the statute supports a number. Where an input is missing — or the statute carries no formula — no number.

Across the whole client book, opportunities rank by dollars at stake — the week starts with the largest number, not the loudest client. And nothing leaves as advice without a signature from someone licensed to give it.

── ── The line

What it does, and what it will never do.

Written down because a practice should be able to check it before trusting anything to it.

── ── Who it's for

Accounting firms

You already keep the books. deciqAI turns them into analysis and planning drafts you can bill at advisory rates — with your review and your signature on every word that reaches a client.

Business owners

You hold the ledger. You want to see what you owe and when, and which decisions are still open before year-end — in English or Chinese.

Not built for

Enterprise tax departments, and anyone looking for a filing service. deciqAI is software you use to prepare your own filings; the licensed professional reviews and signs.

About deciqAI

What is deciqAI?

deciqAI is the advisory engine for accounting firms. From the ledger a firm already keeps, it reads the statements, runs the analysis — cash-flow forecasts, year-over-year shifts — and drafts the plan: cost segregation, PTET elections, safe-harbor corrections, compensation strategy. Every recommendation carries deterministic math and cited authority, with the dollars at stake wherever the statute supports a number — never a modeled savings estimate. A licensed professional reviews and signs before any recommendation reaches a client.

Who is behind deciqAI?

A team that has run businesses and engineered the systems inside them, working across tech, commerce, and consulting. We build the tooling we wanted on both sides of a busy season. Meet the team on the Team page.

Who is deciqAI for?

Accounting firms — CPA and EA practices — and the business owners they serve. Firms use it to turn bookkeeping clients into advisory clients from data they already hold; owners use it to see what they owe, when, and which decisions are still open. Both sides work on the same engagement.

Does deciqAI prepare or file tax returns?

No. deciqAI is software a practice or an owner uses to prepare their own filings. It identifies documents, computes deadlines, flags what appears to cross a threshold, and drafts. It never takes a filing position and never signs or files. A licensed CPA or EA reviews every draft.

Does deciqAI read my email?

No. The product holds no inbox access — it cannot read email, and there is no inbound route in the code. Clients send documents through a secure, expiring upload link that needs no account, and outbound messages wait for your approval — auto-send exists only as an opt-in, for routine chase reminders.

What data is deciqAI built on?

A knowledge base of 1.3M+ raw data entries and 26,724 companies profiled, plus tax and compliance knowledge covering filings, thresholds, and industry-specific obligations. The Data & Methodology page defines exactly what each number counts.

How many agents and skills does deciqAI have?

58 specialist agents, each wired with 237 skills that are open source under MIT — you can read exactly what your agents reason with, skill by skill.
