Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

DeciqAI ("we," "us," "our," or "Company") respects the privacy of our users ("user" or "you"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our application.

2. Information We Collect

Personal Information

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect on the site includes:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Company information
  • User preferences and interests
  • Other information you voluntarily provide

Automatically Collected Information

  • Device information (IP address, browser type, operating system)
  • Usage data (pages visited, time spent, interactions)
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies

3. Use of Your Information

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the site to:

  • Generate a personal profile about you so that future visits to the site may be personalized
  • Increase the efficiency and operation of the site
  • Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience
  • Notify you of updates to the site
  • Offer new products, services, and/or recommendations to you

4. Google User Data and Google API Services

DeciqAI integrates with several Google services: Google Sign-In, Gmail (send-only), Google Calendar, Google Docs/Drive, and optional user-connected marketing data services (Google Ads, Search Console, Analytics, and Business Profile). This section describes how we access, use, store, and share data obtained through Google API Services, in compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4.1 Scopes We Request

Each integration is connected and authorized by the user individually. We request only the minimum scope necessary for each feature:

  • openid, userinfo.email, userinfo.profile — for Google Sign-In and account identity (email, name, avatar).
  • gmail.send — to send emails the user composes and approves in DeciqAI on their behalf. Send-only: the app cannot read, list, or access any messages in the user's mailbox.
  • calendar.events — to create, update, and delete calendar events corresponding to tasks the user has explicitly created in DeciqAI. We never read the user's existing events.
  • drive.file — to export the user's reports as Google Docs/Sheets. This scope is limited to files created by this app; we cannot access any other files in the user's Drive.
  • adwords — to read keyword-planner and campaign data from the user's Google Ads account, and to push campaigns the user explicitly approves (always created PAUSED — never auto-launched).
  • webmasters.readonly — read-only access to the user's Search Console performance data (queries, clicks, positions).
  • siteverification — to complete Google site-ownership verification on the user's behalf.
  • analytics.readonly — read-only access to traffic data from the user's Google Analytics property.
  • business.manage — to access the Google Business Profile the user chooses to connect.

4.2 How We Use Google User Data

We use the data obtained from Google API Services exclusively for the following user-facing features:

  • Sign-in identity (email/name/avatar): to create and identify the user's DeciqAI account.
  • Gmail: sending only the emails the user composes and approves. We never read mailbox content.
  • Calendar: creating/updating/deleting events on the user's primary calendar that correspond to their DeciqAI tasks. We never read existing events or access any other calendar.
  • Docs/Drive: writing the user's reports into documents created by this app.
  • Marketing data (Ads / Search Console / Analytics / Business Profile): reading data from the user's own accounts to generate SEO and advertising analysis and recommendations for that user inside DeciqAI.

We do not use any Google user data for any purpose unrelated to the features described above.

4.3 What We Store

  • OAuth refresh tokens and short-lived access tokens for each connected integration, stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) on our servers and used only to make the authorized API calls described above on the user's behalf.
  • The Google-generated event IDs for tasks the user syncs, and the IDs of documents this app creates, so we can update or delete the correct objects later.

We do not copy, cache, or persist the contents of the user's Google Calendar events, mailbox, or Drive files on our servers.

4.4 Limited Use Commitment

DeciqAI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features described in this section.
  • We do not transfer Google user data to third parties, except as necessary to provide or improve the feature, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets with notice to users.
  • We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, including personalized, retargeted, or interest-based advertising.
  • We do not allow humans to read Google user data, unless we obtain the user's affirmative consent for specific messages, it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), to comply with applicable law, or the data is aggregated and used for internal operations in a way that cannot be used to identify any individual user.
  • We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI and/or ML models.

4.5 Artificial Intelligence (AI/ML) and Google User Data

DeciqAI uses third-party AI services to generate analysis and recommendations. With respect to Google user data:

  • The only Google user data ever processed by an AI model is (a) Search Console performance data and (b) Google Ads keyword-planner data, used to generate SEO and advertising recommendations for the user. This data is sent exclusively to Anthropic (Claude), whose API terms commit that data submitted via the API is not used to train its models.
  • No other Google user data (sign-in identity, Gmail, Calendar, or Drive data) is ever sent to any AI model or AI provider.
  • We do not send any data obtained from Google APIs to any AI provider other than Anthropic, and we do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI and/or ML models.

4.6 Revocation and Data Deletion

Users may revoke DeciqAI's access to any of their Google services at any time by:

  • Clicking "Disconnect" on the corresponding integration in the DeciqAI Settings page, which causes us to delete that integration's stored refresh token and access token from our database; or
  • Visiting https://myaccount.google.com/permissions and removing DeciqAI's access, which immediately invalidates our tokens.

To request deletion of all remaining data associated with your account (including stored event IDs), contact us at [email protected]. Events previously written to the user's Google Calendar remain under the user's sole control and can be deleted by the user directly in Google Calendar.

5. Disclosure of Your Information

We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations:

  • By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to comply with the law
  • Service Providers: We may share your information with third parties that perform services for us, including payment processors, cloud storage providers, and analytics services
  • Business Transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction

Exception for Google user data: Notwithstanding the above, information obtained through Google API Services (as described in Section 4) is not shared with third parties for any of the general purposes listed above, and is handled exclusively in accordance with Section 4 and the Google API Services User Data Policy.

6. Security of Your Information

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information. However, perfect security does not exist on the Internet. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any passwords and usernames and for restricting access to your devices. We will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or email.
